Albania are yet to win Eurovision and will be competing to take home the prize

The Eurovision Song Contest is back with the grand final taking place in Switzerland on Saturday night.
A total of 26 countries will perform in Basel, Switzerland as the biggest singing competition in Europe celebrates 69 years.
Albania made their Eurovision debut in 2004 and have been represented 20 times in total. They have never won the competition.
Their first entry was The Image of You by Anjeza Shahini where they placed 7th. It remained the country's best finishing position until 2012 when Rona Nishliu finished 5th.
This year the country is being represented in Eurovision by Shkodra Elektronike.
The duo are originally from Shkodër in northern Albania but grew up in Italy. It consists of members Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji.

They formed in 2019 and gained popularity in Albania thanks to the success of their singles Ku e Gjeta Vedin and Synin si Qershia in 2020. They also began performing at various international festivals.
They then participated and won Festivali i Këngës 63 which gave them the opportunity to represent Albania in Eurovision 2025.
After they qualified for the final, Shkodra Elektronike said: "We are very happy. It was a wonderful feeling to see so many people giving you strength. It was beautiful, unforgettable."
Since they're yet to win Eurovision, the odds are currently 50/1 according to Ladbrokes meaning they've just missed out on being a favourite.
